Shona & Craig were married at the weekend at the Crutherland Hotel in East Kilbride. It was such a lovely day, no wind with sunshine with some clouds. And the Celtic football team turned up as well!

Thursday, January 28th, 2010These images are from the wedding of Julie & Michael, a wonderful couple who’s wedding I photographed near the end of last year. Julie & Michael are from the south of England and travelled up to Scotland to have their wedding in Bothwell with photographs later at Bothwell Castle and a reception at the Shawlands Park Hotel in Shawsburn. Julie’s family are from Bothwell where she used to visit her gran frequently, playing in the grounds of Bothwell Castle one day dreaming of her wedding. Unfortunately Julie’s gran passed away before the wedding arrived, but we knew she was looking out for her grandaughter that day, the sun shone as though it was the middle of summer and gave us the chance to fufill Julie’s dream.

This was a first time photographing inside this lovely venue, which is very quirky with lots of history including a museum about the history of piping. Bothwell Castle & Collville Park
Thursday, July 16th, 2009Ivan & Leanne were married at High Blantyre old parish chuch which has recently been refurbished and has beautiful light inside for photography. We then moved on to Bothwell Castle for some photography with the Bride and Groom and immediate wedding party, finishing off at the Collville Park in Motherwell photographing friends.
Ivan and Leanne were amazing on the day and are at this moment honeymooning in the Maldives! Here are a few images from their day…..
Wedding photography East Kilbride & Eglinton Arms Hotel
Tuesday, June 30th, 2009The wedding of Leanne & Scot was held on Saturday at East Kilbride’s Old Parish Church in the village and then onto the Eglinton Arms Hotel in Eaglesham. The Eglinton Arms has undergone a recent refurbishment and is beautifully decorated in a boutique style.
Leanne & Scot were so at ease on their day, the weather held up although it looked like a down pour was coming at one point! And this gave us a chance to stay outside and capture some beautiful images.

Monday, June 8th, 2009We have just finished the wedding of Leigh & Barry. What a lovely couple. Leigh was very relaxed on her day, and so was Barry considering his car didn’t turn up for him!

Wedding Photography in East Kilbride
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Leanne & Stewart were married at the weekend, and although the rain did not stop all day the two of them were just so happy together and an absolute joy to photograph!
Their ceremony took place in the Baptist Church in East Kilbride village, where their minister gave a funny and beautiful service, and their reception was held at the Bruce Hotel in East Kilbride.
